This is the first Starlight 30' (1976) and is called "Starlight".  She is the male mould so is very strong yet light.  The first pictures are of around Ise of Wight race last year but she has (apart from that) never raced in my ownership (21 years).  She started life as a racer and designed by Mike Pocock who went on to design the Westerly GK29.  She sails like an arrow and up to 6.5 knots into the wind and what ever down wind.  Solidly rigging (7/16ths) and powerful winches (Lewmar 43)  Her sails are; an excellent and powerful genoa (we often just use that only) battened main, No 2 genoa, Storm gib, spinnaker, cruising chute. she sleeps 5,6 or even seven but by that time you know each other a bit too well! The head room is good to about 5'10". She has a Yanmar GM20 (2001) which is serviced every year (new engine mounts 2 years ago).  Pictured also is the main salon table erected in the cockpit.  This is an adaptation to make the cockpit a good eating area also.  I'm unable to picture the table down below as it is attached to the keel-stepped mast which is currently lying on deck.  She has Plastimo cooker, front opening fridge, sink etc. With no original intentions to sell I have all the service spares ready to instal.  I have brought her home every year and she even has her own shed (pictured also is the dehumidifier and greenhouse heater that keep her dry and toasty all winter).  She's is not perfect, she's 40, but she keeps giving and we would be keeping her had it not been I went and bought a bigger boat.  Viewing welcome.  Trailer doesn't come with boat but by separate sale.
