Century Boat Company was founded in 1926 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Century Boats has a history of building high quality, classic boats for both anglers and families who demand innovation, luxury and reliability from their boat.The Bout is remarkably stable at low and high speed, maxing out at 50mph. It gives a smooth ride and responds well to command. It has a 30gal Fuel tank at the front of the boat with seating for 6 people and a sky pole mounted a-mid-ship. It also has a split screen giving access to the front of the boat.The boat sits on a four wheel galvanized tailor with breaking on all four wheels. the tailor is worth £1200 on its own.
I purchased this boat 4 years ago from Lock Lomond, Scotland and used it on the River Swale sailing out of Conyer Creek. On its last trip out in 2016 the Head-Gasket must have blown because when I went out to sail it again, it had locked up solid. I have removed the head on the right bank of cylinders to try and free off the engine with no luck. I have not got the finances to rebuild the engine so have put it up for auction.
