For sale due to young children. Was on a swinging mooring on Lake windermere in the summer. Always overwintered off the lake in a covered building and has been undercover since 2014 when she came off the water.Halcyon 23: 4 Berth GRP Triple Keel Cruiser, Age Unknown believed to be 1970's. Engine- Bukh 7.5hp Diesel Inboard. Electric start, can be started manually but never needed. Started first time after 12 months storage and runs well.Sails- 2 Sets of Sails- 1 Set White and 1 set Tan. - Roller Main with cover. Newly installed Plastimo Jib Reefing System. Brown sails have become sun bleached but never used by me. White sails in good order.Inventory- Compass (needs topping up with oil), Garmin GPS 126, Cliper Depth Sound and Log, 3 year old deep cycle leisure battery, Masthead and side lights, Boat Hook, electric bilge pump with float switch and first aid kit.Trailer- Twin Axle road trailer, light board and lights. Used to launch and recover the boat via slipway. We have always used ferry nab on windermere. Shallow draft of the boat makes launching easy as little depth of water needed to float her on and off the trailer. Internal- Cushions recently recovered, Sea toilet, VHF radio (old), CD/ MP3 Player.Rigging- All rigging wires were replaced in 2014 when she last came off the water and have not yet been used.Quality family sailing doesn't come much cheaper than this. This is a great little boat, and being a triple keel version, makes it ideal for shallow moorings and exploring estuaries. She is old but sound. The wood work and hull are all sound, no sign of osmosis. There have been some repairs to scratches on the hull above the waterline in the past which show as slight discoloration. She could do with a new coat of bottom paint and some white gloss inside the cabin but otherwise is good to go.Cash would be preferred on collection.Located 3mins from J36 of the M6, currently on her trailer in our yard. > > > > > > > > > > > >
