De Groot 36, good looking boat, very easy to handle with an excellent Ford Lehman 120 diesel and electric Vetus Bowthruster. I have owned d'Laine for four years, I am only selling because my house is on the market and if it sells I will lose the mooring (so - no mooring available with the boat unless you also buy the house... plenty of space in local marinas which is my "plan B") Very comfortable aft cabin with sit down shower/quarter bath, pump out head, capacious wardrobe and cupboard space, airy saloon with removable table and loads more cupboard space, good sized galley, guest accommodation in v-berth in bow with plenty of hanging/drawer space, hot water via an extremely efficient calorifier, heating via a hot air eberspacher. Excellent tankage (all in stainless steel) - c400l fuel in twin tanks (balanced), and the same for water in a single central tank, very economical at river speeds, handles beautifully. Big enough for comfortable living, small enough for comfortable cruising.Full Thames Licence for 2017 and BSS until 2019. Navman Chart Plotter, DSC/VHF radio, and fluxgate compass if you want to go further afield. Out of the water summer 2014, five coats of "black" on the hull plus all new anodes, replace seacocks with "lever" style, new bilge pump (doubled up but rarely used) new starter battery last year, two new leisure batteries this year. Fuel filters and oil changed this year. d'Laine is a much admired, competent, usable, and practical boat, beautifully fitted out by Hurst Boatbuilders (which means that she is also properly insulated if you were thinking of living aboard or extended cruising during the winter months. Having the cabins at opposite ends of the boat offers privacy and comfort when entertaining guests. Please contact me via eBay and I can send you my phone number if you want to discuss the boat, collection only (obviously) on full transfer of funds and ownership via RYA bill of sale. The baot may be viewed by appointment near Staines, I might be interested in a smaller trailer boat (Shetland 4+2 or similar) or a barge up to about 50' if you want to discuss a possible deal.
