I love this boat, but I just purchased a new Marlow-Hunter 36. This is a 2008 MacGregor 26M in fantastic condition. This is not your average neglected Macgregor, but rather one that's been pampered. It sits on an aluminum trailer with spare tire. Boat is upgraded with following items:
- rigged with four clutches and all lines lead to cockpit for single handling from helm. You will not find another Macgregor with four clutches! Macgregors come from factory with cheap cleats, which are a pain.
- Etec 90 motor (upgrade from standard Etec 60). It's California three star emission certified and has torque to spare.
- Two 6 gallon fuel tanks for total of 12 gallons.
- Lowrance Elite 7 HDI with Gold maps (entire U.S.), 7-inch fishfinder/chartplotter with high-bright, LED-backlit display, Hybrid Dual Imaging combines Broadband Sounder with DownScan Imaging technology, built-in GPS antenna and high-definition mapping and water temperature. Note: I have extra power cable (see picture) with cigarette plug to take the plotter home, plot your course, and be ready for your next adventure.
- UM415 Full Featured VHF Submersible Marine Radio with 5' Shakespeare antenna on folding mount.
- Dual batteries with Selector Switch and 10w solar panel.
- All lines led aft with clutches.
- Lazy Jack for main.
- Hanked on jib for easy transport.
- Mainsail cover.
- Cockpit cushions in like-new condition.
- SE Sport 300 hydrofoil
