1963 Tomahawk Motor boat. When Harley Davidson bought Tomahawk they continued making boats for only a few years. You can see on the name plate that this was made during that time. This boat is in very good shape only needing minor cosmetic restoration. The previous owner put in a new floor, fiberglass over plywood, and it is very solid with no soft spots. It is also covered with outdoor carpeting. The hull has no cracks, holes or soft spots. It had been repainted but it is flaking. The red paint is in decent shape, but the original blue is coming thru in some spots. The windshield is intact but will need replaced due to crackling in the plastic. The metal frame to it is complete and undamaged. The controls for the outboard motor and steering all work well. I just recently bought this boat for the motor and the trailer (not originals). With another motor this boat is ready for use. The red trailer in the picture is not the one going with it. The yellow Tee Nee trailer will be swapped under it by end of sale. The tires hold air but I would not recommend towing with it until it has been gone thoroughly thru. The trailer is also from the early 60s, I do not have a title for it. It came from the original owner and never had one issued. The boat does have a clean Indiana title. It is listed on title as a 1969 for some reason. I am unsure how easy that would be to correct. The boat is available for inspection should you want to arrange one. It does also have an aftermarket stereo installed by previous owner. No warranty implied or given, sold as is, where is. Buyer must arrange all pick up and shipping. It is in Valparaiso, Indiana, 46383. This really is a good, solid boat. Only getting rid of because I am keeping my even older, somewhat bigger boat. |
