I have for sale a 22' Boston Whaler utility boat with twin 150 Evinrude engines (center console) with commercial Boston Whaler trailer. This boat is a commercial grade boat built to military specs so it is built for durability and performance. It has a 11 person capacity. The engines are independent with separate batteries for ocean use and have stainless steel props. This is (I believe) an ALUMINUM hull with KNEEL GUARD and the beam is 7' rub rail to rub rail. I believe the civilian version of this boat would be either a Revenge or Outrage. The total hours shows the boat has operated 2,093 total time.I bought this boat from GSA in Williamsburg, VA sometime 2007 and took it to Sunset Marine (twice) in Hampton, VA for repairs to make this boat ocean ready. The starboard engine (2004) had average compression of about 120 and the port engine (1993) had an average compression of about 95. The boat was started and, as you can see from the Repair bill, and numerous items were fixed bow to stern and everything worked (2009). The repairs included lighting; battery switches & cables; filters, fuel lines; gages and other repairs of $3,000. After repairs the boat has never been started or put into the water. (I was in ill-health and battling a divorce). And, most importantly, the boat was too heavy for my boat life.I painted the boat inside and outside with boat paint which is now flaking badly especially on the inside. The original navy gray paint or gelcoat I believe to be in good condition and I should not have painted the boat. The boat has lots of storage space under the bow deck (3 ) . Please see the pictures. The front seat was purchased new (from Calif.) but the seat cushions blew away... I have the original seat and console which is in good condition. I had the rear seat reupholstered and aside from the elements has never been sat in. You will note the radar unit was removed...I was going to put in a tv, or stereo and fish finder.I know nothing about the commercial trailer but I have towed about 300 miles with no problems. The boat has a pindle hitch (I have one)... I do not believe the electric brakes work...and the lights may or not work...I used auto magnetic tow lights. I have about $25,000 invested in this boat and my starting bid of $5,000 with no reserve is less than the value of the engines. This boat is being sold as is where is condition with absolutely no guarantees or warranties expressed or implied and I invite bidders to please inspect the boat at my home 18306 Morgarts Beach Road in Smithfield, VA. All pictures were taken one week ago and my Ebay rating is 100%. I will not assist in starting the boat as the "new" batteries are now dead and I am 100% disabled.By investing a few dollars you will have a beautiful Boston Whaler. Tks for looking.
