2007 Porta Bote, 12ft Genisys IV and NEW Yamaha 6hpThe price that I will sell this boat and motor package is getting you the Porta Bote for free for buying my new Yamaha 6hp four stroke outboard.Comes with the factory optional Porta wheels, seats, transom, bow cap, 2pc oars and all the original paperwork from new. I am the second owner and have only had it for a month. The only difference between this boat and the newer Alpha models have the folding gate style transom which is not as good since they have less rigidity than the solid one pc transom on this boat. This boat is in excellent condition. I bought it with the intention of using it as a dinghy on a larger boat but I am now getting a smaller boat than anticipated so a smaller dinghy is needed. So my loss is your gain. The previous owner made a few nice improvements including custom 2" wide straps to keep it shut when folded (not pictured), wood on the transom for an outboard to clamp to and more custom 2" wide straps to hang it in your garage (also not pictured). Mostly like new with the exception of scuffs on the rub rails, etc. Better than new in that it has the previous owner improvements and optional wheels. Nearly new Yamaha 6hp outboard with external 6 gallon fuel tank and attached fuel line. I purchased this motor from Wilson Marine in Brighton in March 2017. It also has an unused internal fuel tank that can be used at the owners discretion. This motor has 6 hours on it and is just passed the break in period and ready to use normally. Better than buying new since it comes with the external tank and you don't have to go through the tedious and annoying break in procedure as I have already done it. Comes with all the original paperwork. Yamaha is the it brand for outboards now. It's extremely smooth running, quiet, clean burning and no oil mixing. Still under warranty! This motor will put a smile on your face every time you start it up.Optional sail kit:
I also have a brand new, unused sail kit for it. Purchased from Sailstogo on ebay. The sail kit comes with an extra sail that you wouldn't get if you buy it from them. This is the 55sq ft sail kit they sell for $899. This sail kit has side leeboards that allow tacking upwind which the Porta Bote OEM sail kit will not do.
