18 foot Birchwood River Cruiser moored on the newly restored Cotswold Canal at Stroud. The canal will have an extensive stretch navigable this summer so here is a great opportunity to beat the rush and have a boat on this water while moorings are still available.
The Birchwood's cathedral hull makes it very stable and ideal for canal use and VERY maneuverable!
This British built boat has a fully folding navy canvas canopy to keep out the wet weather but quickly folds away to enjoy those gorgeous sunny days on this beautiful new canal.
Brilliant (and very quiet) Honda 4-stroke 10HP outboard recently overhauled by local marine engineer (very handy to have nearby).
The cabin accommodates a double bed which converts to a dining table that seats up to 6.
The boat is still a bit of a project as it has been insulated inside but all the bulkhead (wall) covering needs doing, the front windscreen seal needs replacing but all the parts and tools are in the boat ready to do that and the new interior high spec marine deck sole has been cut to shape and just needs fitting. However, as she floats and runs great fun can be had with this little cruiser whilst the work is ongoing.
Complete with trailer should you wish to move her. I've had lots of fun with this super little boat, now it's someone else's turn.I am resisting this due to a time waster.
