For Sale - My much loved Explorer Elite Fast Fishing Boat / Outboard(s) / Trailer TRURO, CORNWALL2 previous (local) owners, kept in driveways / garages throughout and in very good condition. Wonderful, easily handled and VERY fast fishing boat (22-25 Knots). It is very stable either under speed or while fishing (you can sit on the gunwales while fishing). Easily accommodates 3-4 active rods. Cuddy is excellent when under way or sheltering from rain / weather. Hull is in excellent condition, no dings or digs. I've just replaced the whole length of rubbing strake / fender. White GRP polishes up very nicely.DESIGN CATEGORY: C
LENGTH: 16ft 5ins
BEAM: 6ft 9ins
DRAUGHT: 10ins
UNLADEN WEIGHT: 440kgs
MAXIMUM LOAD: 588kgs
MAXIMUM PERSONS: 4The main outboard engine is 50HP and has had very light use only and starts and runs really well. The engine is a two-stroke with a separate oil feeder tank. Two main fuel tanks are included.Main items list:- Explorer Elite Fast Fishing Boat, cabin / cuddy and moulded bench seats - Helm and passenger spinning seats with storage cupboards underneath- Johnson 50HP Two-Stroke outboard (plus OMC workshop manual), low hours and very reliable, electric tilt from helm remote, electric start / keyed ignition- Propellor is in excellent condition (recently repainted, along with engine leg / skeg)- 2 x fuel tanks (for long distance cruising)- Mercury auxiliary 4HP four-stroke engine (VERY nice condition)- Brand new engine covers for both outboards- Recent replacement starter / boat electrics battery- Separate transom bracket for auxiliary engine- Blue tonneau fitted cover- Multiple fitted rod holders- Cabin top rack inc running, port & starboard navigation lights and VHF aerial- Brand new fish finder- Mounted VHF radio- Integrated 12v FM radio (for those 'no bite' fishing days)- New Teleflex steering cable and connections (2016)- Anchor & warp from bow locker over S/S roller- Indespension Hallmark braked Roller Coaster trailer, regularly and professionally serviced (I'm just replacing some of the U bolts and fitted a new winch strap), trailer board and electrics, wheel lock & padlock- Both engines regularly serviced when in use but will need a check prior to re-launch as I've only turned them over in water tanks in the drive for the last 4 years (reflected in the price, which is very low to start with) - Sundry fishing equipment / fenders / wet gearStored in my drive at home in Truro, Cornwall. Buyer collects (I'm afraid I no longer own a vehicle capable of towing the boat!).Lots of other boating gear will be included if the boat sells for a price close to what I'm asking. The boat has been anti-fouled at some point (not by me) but I've never re-applied any as it's only ever used as a day boat. However, I am including a 5l tin of International blue anti-fouling which I bought in a slightly mad moment. The Mercury auxiliary / wing engine is a very very clean 4-stroke and swaps to the same fuel supply pipe as the main engine when in use. VERY lightly used.PLEASE, no crazy offers or tyre kickers. This is a genuine sale and I'm not interested in agencies or brokers or time-wasters. Check my feedback for confidence.I'll be advertising the boat elsewhere too. Viewing is fine, Truro Cornwall, and I can send some more photos if they're required (eBay restricted me to just 12).Reason for selling is that I haven't used it for 4 years now and it's just wasted on me! It cost me £8,500.Boat will be released once payment has cleared. Many thanks for looking!
