A beautiful modernised 40ft 2+1 berth narrowboat with steel hull and GRP top. Built by Dartline (Bunbury) Ltd in 1976. This boat has been extensively renovated during 2012 to 2015 to a high standard using modern materials. The boat plate and engine bilge have been treated and painted with International Danboline. The laminate flooring covers heatproof insulation. The boat has been completely rewired using RIPCA marine wiring with LED lighting in the ceiling, under the gunwhales and in the skirting that hides the water and radiator pipes. New double radiators serviced by 22mm pipes and heated by an ALDE Comfort 2920 (serviced in 2014). The boat has been lined throughout with insulated UPVC cladding and all windows have been replaced with double glazed units. Plenty of storage under the cross-bed (can fold into a day bed if required) and seating as well as a clothes cupboard, kitchen units and space for fridge. Please refer to pictures for more detail. There is a safety certificate until February 2019. I can supply details of all works including marine survey in 2012, sand blasting, hull plating, 2-pack antifouling and blacking in 2012 and, the complete engine and gearbox overhaul in 2015. At the present time the boat is moored at Great Haywood Marina but if the boat is not sold by 12 July 2017 we plan to cruise it back to Harefield via Fradley Junction, Hawkesbury Junction and the Grand Union Canal.Pictures: 1) Newly painted at Harefield in March 2014. 2) Moored up at Harefield with new Wilson's made back cover in 2015. 3) Bedroom progress in 2014. 4) Ceiling cladding looking aft to foreward. 5) Near completion of lounge and galley in 2014. 6) Completion of bedroom in 2015. 7) View aft to forward. Thank you.
