Offered here is a 1988 18'6" Stratos 279V Bass Boat in poor condition.I am selling this as a parts boat unless you are willing to take on a pretty large overhaul job I am not sure where to start describing this rig but here goes nothing.The Good:The trailer is in good condition, the tongue jack and winch are in working condition I am not sure about the lights but they are all in place and it wouldn't take much to get them going if they don't already work,the tires are pretty good the rims have a little rust.The bad: The boat has several bad spots in the floor, the motor has a bad piston the seats and carpet are trash, and the transom is very weak, basically you would be getting gauges, controls, a pretty good hull, and a bilge pump.The Missing: Someone removed the fishing seats, trolling motor, front depth finder, batteries, and the prop The useable motor parts: When the boat was last used it had good trim motor, power packs, carburetors, lower unit, cowl, and all other engine parts other than the top left piston. This is a no reserve auction with a starting price of what I think the trailer is worth.The boat will need to be picked up on Lay Lake near Paradise Point, Southeast of Birmingham, Alabama.If you have questions just email me and I will try to answer them, check my Feedback.I will provide a bill of sale and prefer cash in person.
