She's ready to sail away with a huge payload of new equipment most of which was installed in the last 5 years. Comprising mainly of ; new engine, gearbox and prop, new sails, new standing rigging, new running rigging bought back to cockpit, electric anchor windlass, grey box, deck wash, main saloon headlining, new macerator pump, warm air heating to all cabins and WC, 12vDC USB outlets, sea water cooled refrigeration set. Earlier upgrades in our ownership included HW calorifier, electric FW pump, shower, holding tank, four batteries, Erbespacer diesel heating battery float charger, 240vAC & 12vDC throughout, Raymarine ST60 wind, speed, depth and Autopilot. Lewmar 48 self tailing winches, We have a huge amount of her history documented. This boat now has the benefit of a survey, by a UK surveyor, conducted on 20th January 2017 - report available on request . She has been freshly anti fouled and the hull polished ready for the 2017 season. She is lying at Conyer, North Kent Sole mini 29hp installed in April 2009, the engine bay was lined with sound deadening foil faced quilt prior to installation. A fully instrumented Sole control panel with tachometer, oil pressure, water temperature and voltage gauges in cockpit. Key start with several spare keys on board. Approx 720 hours completed serviced each year and records are maintained in engine documents. New fuel lines were installed and a new cartridge type filter installed. Vetus raw water strainer installed at front. Engine bay has lighting. Heavy GRP lay up that Westerly are famous for makes her a solid and steady boat in a big sea. Her gelcoat is a little tired in places but in recent years the hull has been regularly polished and looks good. Some small areas of the top sides have blistered a little and the usual number of scuffs and hairline cracks are present. These are covered in the survey and are no more that cosmetic and common in Westerly's. She has had the benefit of an Osmosis prevention treatment applied in 2004. We have tried not to use compound on the GRP but have used restorer and marine wax. The last 2 surveys are available and all recommendations have been completed. She has spent the last 5 winters ashore and since 2013 she has been stored inside with the masts off. Forward cabin ; full length tapered double berth with cushions, new 2010. LED lights, escape hatch 240vAC and 12vDC outlets. Storage under berths. Narrow full length hanging locked with shelves, holding tank fitted within. Saloon ; three berths including a pull out double with new cushions 2010. LED lights, 240vAC and 12vDC outlets. New headlining in 2013 music speakers and amplifier suitable for use with iPad/Iphone inputs for music and radio. Storage under berths, full length hanging locker. Fold up table seats 6. Aft cabin ; two full length pilot berths with new cushions in 2013. 240vAC and 12vDC outlets LED lights. Storage under berths Cockpit ; seats around 8, cockpit cushions of closed cell foam. Small table, 12vDC outlets. 35kg CQR anchor with 30m of 8mm chain, new in 2010 marked at 5m intervals. 15kg CQR Kedge anchor, chain and warp. Electric anchor with windlass operated by foot switches on foredeck or switch at helm, new 2010 Windlass can be used to warp in mooring lines at the foredeck New in 2015 cockpit spray hood and full cockpit cover which encloses the entire cockpit with zip up windows to sides and rear. Heads fitted with H&C to basin and shower, both drain to grey box with automatic pump out new 2015 LED lights fitted throughout interior. 240vAC and 12vDC fitted throughout, USB outlets fitted in saloon 45litre (approx) waste water holding tank with macerator pump new 2015, with tank emptying fittings at deck. 30litre hot water calorifier with 240v immersion heater and connections to engine cooling system Sea water cooled refrigeration system for cool box type fridge built into galley work area. Double sink with H&C water and foot pump for cold water in emergency. 3 ring gimbled gas oven and grill, two cylinder gas locker in cockpit. Chart table with LED dimmed lighting, MCB protection to all 12vDC circuits. 4 batteries, circa 2010, 240v float charger and isolators. Rutland 540 wind generator 2012, new bearings fitted 2016. NASA BM1 battery monitor.Whale FW pump 2006, Whale sea water deck wash pump with outlet in cockpit 2016.
