Flight to Barcelona and train to Perpignan or Elne.Q:Les Capellans is presumably within the inner marina - after what looks like a swinging bridge?
I didn't know 'leasehold' was possible in France - thought the French were very guarded about who 'owns' sections of coastline - albeit this is different Who controls the leasing?A:The marina is owned by the local  - on paper it is considered as you have paid all rent and consumable for the next 24 years upfront - this way there is no actually transfer tax as in other places - very clever actually in other places of France to transfer a berth you pay another 5-10k EUR just for transfer - the trick how they solve the problem with increasing electricity e.g  is by having a year payment for "support of the man made lake" where all long term berth are located - e.g for this year it is 1564eur for 12months.Les Capellan is the internal part after the swinging bridge where is the safest place - I have managed to get my berth in the best possible position- 50ft from the shops and between the building which covers the birth from the elements.
