After 6 years of fun and adventure exploring the East coast, we're selling 'Flapper' - she's a versatile day sailer and the perfect boat for family fun or for a couple seeking some peace and quiet. Her groundbreaking design means that the cockpit can be opened up so that there's a large open space for large groups to picnic and be sociable. There are four berths arranged along the sides, plus a sea toilet, and the lifting keel means she's ideal for shallow waters. She has been recently anti-fouled and is ready to launch. Equipment includes:Yamaha 6hp engine (fits neatly into a well in the stern) - fully serviced last monthTrailer - for overwintering, not for road useFibreglass tender with 2.5hp Honda outboard - serviced last monthMain sail (slab reefing), furling head sail, lazyjacks, spray hood, anchor, windex, sail cover, fenders, ropes, horseshoe buoy, halyard winch, 2 sheet winches, bilge pump, cushions, ladder. There is also a basic battery operated depth sounder (never used by us). We have removed the original kitchen unit and meths stove, but they are available if you would like to reinstall them. Also included is an inflatable tender with small wheels attached - this needs a bit of attention and repair. Please do message me if you need any further information, or if you would like to discuss mooring / running costs - this was our first boat (we're selling due to buying a larger yacht) and we would be happy to discuss the joys of boat ownership as we have found 'Flapper'  to be the perfect starter craft.
