Westerly Pageant “Seren”Good, clean condition, built 1978, hull ID SOU149178, Boat and Sail number 521, which make “Seren” one of the last Pageants made. Small Ships Register No 45766. Currently in harbour in West Wales on mooring.GRP Hull, decks, cabin and cockpit, stained wood rubbing strake, cast iron bilge keels. Four/five berths in two cabins, galley. Wet locker to port, separate enclosed heads to starboard. Length Overall 23’ 1”, Length Waterline 19’ 0”, Beam 8’, Draft: 2’10”, Headroom: 5’ 11” Displacement: 4300 lbsEngine and gearbox.Volvo Penta MD7A - 13HP raw water cooled diesel engine with 6 gallon fuel tank, shaft driven twin blade fixed prop.Engine is in excellent condition and starts easily on key or can be started manually. Engine serviced April 17 with new filters. Impeller inspected, but no wear. Spare filters and impeller. Alternator was refurbished in 2015. Gearbox selects gears easily. Manual prop gland greaser. Electrics1 x 100amp/hr and 1 x 59amp/hr batteries connected to 2 solar panels. LED Navigation lights new 2016. SailsRoller reefing genoa with UV strip new in 2012, slab reefing main. Both sails in good condition.Aluminium mast with stainless steel rigging. Rigging in good condition. All lines led back to cockpit.Spray hood, over boom cockpit cover and named spray dodgers. Instruments & NavigationGarmin 551 GPS Plotter, New Nasa Target Depth with new transducer. Nasa Target Log. Mini Seacourse autohelm. Fitted Navico RT6500 VHF radio, 2 x compasses, black cone & ball, clock & barometer. Manual bilge pump.Maintenance.Primed and anti-fouled April 2017 before being re-launched after winter ashore. Rudder tube se-sealed and re-bushed 2017, diesel tank removed and steam cleaned 2017. SafetyHorseshoe lifebuoy, three fire extinguishers, 2 x harness anchor points in cockpit. Pulpit mounted anchor with 20m chain and wharp, spare anchor and chain. Decks.Original cockpit duckboards and seating. Thetford PortaPotti in separate heads – I have a new fitted toilet which was removed due to not being allowed to use on the current moring. Gimballed 2 burner cooker with grill, gas bottle in rear locker with regulator. 2 chart racks, clock and barometer, carbon monoxide alarm, 4 cabin lights (12volt), sink - fed from internal water tank (not used) by pump/tap. Under seat coolbox, removable small and large tables. Masses of storage under and behind seating. 12 volt lighter socket, curtains. Upholstery is in good original condition, although 2 corners of the cushions have frayed.Other - there about 1 litre of bilge water collects over 2 weeks, as the amount is so small I planned to investigate when next lifted out.A Stowe wind speed and direction instrument is fitted but not connected. There is a slipway in the harbour but no lifting facilities.
