For Sale is this pretty 1976 O'Day 25. As the name implies, she's a 25 foot sailboat. 8 HP Honda outboard with Remote and Electric Start - This engine starts every time, with the turn of a key. The Throttle/idle control and key start remote is mounted on the railing with easy access to the skipper. Get the feeling of motoring like a larger boat with this setup. On most sailboats with an outboard, you'll find you are dealing with a cranky old pull-start. Save your shoulder and your frustration with this baby. You can do 6+ knots all day long, while motoring. Shallow-draft swing keel - perfect for sailing on the lake, or in the bay. With the swing keel up, you will draft less than 3' of water. This O'Day is very forgiving when it comes to accidentally crossing shallow waters. Where some boats with deeper drafts would drag the bottom, you will glide smoothly across...as long as you have 3+ feet.Air Conditioning - Enjoy the comfort of air conditioning when hooked in to shore power, or while using a generator. The companionway-mounted powerful 6,000 BTU LG Air Conditioner will keep you cool, even in the hot summer months. PlasTEAK cabin floors - enjoy the comfort and luxury of beautiful, padded PlasTEAK cabin floors. These floors are more durable, and easier to clean than natural teak. Their added padding make standing on them much more comfortable.Memory foam cushions - After a day of sailing, you'll want a comfortable place to get some shut-eye. The twin berths in the cabin have cushions upgraded with memory foam, so you can sleep well.Bimini top - Not a standard feature on boats of this size, this bimini was customized to provide shade and not interfere with the operation of the boat and its sails.Bottom job - Hull Repainted in Summer 2016Recently replaced float switch in bilgeTrailerable (trailer not included)If you're looking for a bottom of the barrel boat, then you have come to the wrong ad. But, if you're looking for a great starter/hobby boat, with many of the comforts and luxuries of a larger boat and at a much more affordable price - you got a winner. It's also set up for easy single handed sailing, with all lines running to the cockpit. $6000 obo. I'm not in a rush to sell her, so please no lowballers...I'll happily sail this boat until she sells. All reasonable offers will be considered.
