Description
Condition: Used Year: 1972
Make: Boston Whaler

1972 Whaler professionally restored. Original gelcoat/decals on hull. Interior heavily sanded and 1 coat of Epifanes multi purpose primer applied, followed by 2 coats of Total Boat Boston Whaler polyurethane blue. This paint is the closest to the original blue out there today. In pictures, it looks slightly lighter due to the sun. This was the last year for the blue interior. The bottop is Epifanes red, and the bottom is 3 coats Pettit Unepoxy, so beaching her ought not to wear through the bottom paint for some time. Interior is new mahogany with 8 coats Epifanes gloss.
The motor is a 1970 Johnson 20 that came from a freshwater lake. This is a low hour motor---had the original spark plugs in it. [still does]. The ignition/water pump/carburetor were serviced, and lower unit checked and filled w/new lube. After sitting in my barn for 3 years, the motor started on the second pull this Spring. These motor are known to be virtually bulletproof, do not let the age scare you, and all parts to keep them running are still readily available today.this motor should be good to go for the foreseeable future--I will warranty it for 30 days. Comes w/choice of 3 or 6 gallon tank.
The trailer is a 14/700 Gator w/good bearings and tires.
Boat must be seen. Virtually like new, and has a dry hull. The 20 pushes it along quite well. Will consider selling less motor. Can also add new steering console/controls/Teleflex steering for price to be determined.
