1950's classic wooden speed boat in need of restoration and TLC . bought this boat as it was a dream to start going on the river in Twickenham but unfortunetely something hit the hull and the boat sank , we have it at the moment at Nauticalia in Shepperton and has been stripped to see the damage , unfortunetely the cost is too high for us to restore it to its original glory and sadly we have to let her go to more capable hands that can make her seaworthy again .The engine is gone , dont know if can be restored but it is a 3litre v8 ford engine which is still in the boat , the shaft needs total rebuild , the interior fittings have been comlletely stripped and the 2 original swivel chairs are still there .It is a restoration project as said before and believe can be a beautiful little runabout , the hull seems to be in good condition in the exception of a few planks , the sides and interior, electrics etc need all redoing striping back and doing new decks , the rudder needs changing also , belive it could be adapted tto take a outboard or electric motor .Please do get in contact if you wish to view .
