This auction is for a pair of original vintage and very rare large plate architectural publicity photographs that were taken of the interior of the Regal Cinema at Kettering at its opening in 1932 and which were featured in the "Ideal Kinema" trade press publication. These are the actual photographs that were used in that publication and about 10 by 8 inches or slightly larger in size. Some pencil notation on the reverse together with, rather nicely, a date stamp on the reverse that provides the exact date that they were taken (7th January 1932). Please note that these are one off vintage original photographs and not modern reproductions or copies. Suitable for  cinema collector or anyone with an interest in the history of the area or this particular building, later a Granada Cinema and then s bingo hall.
