The future of affordable, in water dry docking is here...DRY DOCK YOUR BOAT FIRST TIME, EVERY TIME, EASILY! From Queensland Australia, a revolutionary dry docking system that actually guides your boat into your marina berth, you dont even need fenders... Not only does the FAB Dock give you all the benefits of dry docking, like no weed growth, reducing maintenance costs, being environmentally friendly and no more antifouling. But the FAB Dock goes one step further and helps guide your boat into your mooring. This makes it really easy to enter and exit your berth. Simply drive in, Fab Dock will guide you, the dock is then automatically closed and drained of water, keeping your boats hull clean from weed growth and degradation to outdrives, reducing maintenance costs, reducing fuel consumption and increasing performance and perhaps most importantly this system helps to enhance the future re-sale value of your vessel.
Exclusively available through Fine Design Marine, call 01202 465 327 or email boats@finedesign-marine.co.ukNEW FAB DOCK dry docking system....
Poole Harbour powerboat dealer Fine Design Marine have been appointed European Distributor for “Fab Dock” dry berthing systems of Queensland Australia. A cost effective dry docking system that keeps your boats hull clean of weed growth, removing the need for anti-fouling and reducing the cost of maintenance to drives and ruining gear. As well as the obvious economic and performance benefits of keeping your boat dry in your own personal dry dock. Fab Dock has also been designed to help guide you into your berth, first time every time, you dont even need fenders... Simply drive in, the Fab Dock cushions your boat and guides you in, the dock is then automatically closed and drained of water, keeping your boats hull clean and dry. Available for boats from 15ft to 100ft LOA, any boat powered by single or twin shaft drives, sterndrives, pod drives, IPS, or outboards can be accommodated. Monohulls or cats, even swing keel sailing boats. Dry Docking... FAB Dock's premise is simple; you drive your boat in, the rear “gate” section is then inflated by an air pump built into the dock, that can run off shore power or a dedicated battery installed on your boat. That's it. All done in ten minutes. The FAB Dock system looks after the rest. It empties the water out and then turns itself off. Your boat is completely dry. When it rains, the automatic sensor turns the water pumps on until the FAB Dock is dry again and then turns itself off.Docking assistance... We all know how hard the docking process can be, especially on those windy days, so why ask your passenger to help, and put them at risk of falling in the water when you can just tell them to sit back and relax. FAB Dock will have you docked in no time at all. Not only is the docking easy but this revolutionary design allows the FAB Dock to act as a fender protecting your boat from hitting pontoons or other boats nearby. Features & BenefitsNo more anti-fouling, everReduced maintenance costs, drives / running gear / anodes etc are kept dry in the Fab DockKeeps hull clean
Unique design makes docking your boat much easier, the inflated FabDock tubes guide you in & keep your boat from touching the pontoon.
FabDock is made from high UV resistant material, tried and tested under the Australian sun and is built to last.
Portable: If you want to move marinas or change your berth, its simple, just roll it up and take it with you. Easy to pack up and set up.
The footprint is about the same size as the boat (actually smaller in some instances), therefore no problems in tight spaces or marinas
Inconspicuous: some marinas have already banned other alternatives because they are unsightly and potentially dangerous
No issues in shallow waters; if you can get your boat in and out, you can have a Fab Dock
There is no additional stress or strain placed on your pontoon or jetty
Your boat remains at water level meaning no chance of the boat rolling over or having to climb up to board or blocking your water views
Completely self-contained. No bulky and hazardous control boxes or pipes to trip over
No hard plastic or metal parts to damage your boat if something goes wrong
No metal parts to corrode
No moving parts to service
Keeps water out of inlet pipes preventing sea growth and other build up in these vital channels
You will save money on maintenance by keeping your boat’s legs, shafts and propellers dry
Your boat will go faster
You will save money on fuel
You will be helping the environment
It will improve the resale value of your boat
Forget hoisting, boosting or skidding your boat above the waterline on to the various dry dock systems on the market. The low-profile Fab Dock lets it stay right where it is, effectively pushing the water away from the hull by surrounding it from below with an inflatable PVC or polyurethane collar and polyurethane alloy floor. That inflatable collar surrounds your boat and protects it from dock damage. Bilge pumps pump the Fab Dock dry when the boat is in position and work to continually keep things that way while the boat is not in use. It’s kind of like your own personal dry dock, except this one is portable and positioned right at your dock or slip. Move to a new spot and the Fab Dock rolls up and goes with you.Assembly is minimal. Simply unroll, slide into the water and inflate. The back half of the collar is a separate, weighted chamber; when deflated, the weight causes it to sink far enough below the surface to effectively open the door for entry. Just get the bow into the opening between the port and starboard tubes, and the hull is guided into position. Once in place, that back gate is then inflated with a portable electric pump attached to the boat battery, a solar panel or shore power, completing the full wraparound collar and surrounding your boat. Water left within is emptied in about 30 to 45 minutes by submersible pumps, located within a housing on the floor. An electronic sensor turns the pumps on should water enter the Fab Dock via rain or waves. Each Fab Dock is manufactured to fit the hull almost like a glove, taking into account more than 25 data points that compensate for individual running gear. In some cases, pockets may be incorporated into the durable polyurethane alloy floor; areas subject to added stress are reinforced with pure polyurethane. It’s tough stuff, developed and proven in Australia's harsh UV and salt water environment, the Fab Dock is reassuringly simple with no moving parts and comes with a 3 year warranty as standard, designed to last 15+ years. It really is a simple solution to an age old problem. Fine Design Marine
