FOR SALE is my lovely Comet dinghy; sad to see her go but I am just not sailing her enough. COMET 235, “Red Admiral” - Red hull, white deck, standard rig, grab rails for capsize recovery, dry compartment, good new-ish sail and an old spare sail, cover, burgee, Windhawk wind indicator, piggy-back road trailer/launch trolley. Daggerboard & rudder a bit scratched, naturally, and a few superficial scratches under the hull, surface a bit faded on the transom due to sunlight but otherwise in fine condition. The Comet is a single-handed sailing dinghy with a sail size in between that of a Laser and a Laser Radial, but it is not as fast a boat. It has a comfortable, roomy cockpit with no clutter and very straightforward rigging, with a rear mainsheet. I believe it can be modified to centre sheeting if required.
