For Sale is a beautiful 1986 Mako 286 Fishing Boat. Please read this description in detail before bidding. The following are the details:FOR SALE IS THE HULL ONLY. NO ENGINES, NO TRAILER, NO TRANSMISSION, NO PROPS! The hull is in great shape. It was completely professionaly painted a few years ago and exterior is very very nice. Just needs new coat of bottom paint. I just spent $8,000 building a new composite floor for the entire Mako. It was built profesionally using composite light weight materials. The floor turned out awesome and took off a lot of weight from the hull. Stringers are original, solid and completely glassed in. There is a huge aluminum tank in the boat already. I dont really know the capacity, but if I had to guess, it is probably over 250 gallons. The new floor is in the boat but I have not installed it yet. I have also epoxied most of the teak wood inside the cabin but still need to finish it. Wood looks amazing. I have all the cushions for the cockpit and I will give them to the buyer. I took off the tower to work on the boat better, but I will include the tower in the sale. OUTRIGGERS, CAPTAINS CHAIRS and SWIM PLATFORM ARE NOT INCLUDED! It was a nice project, but honestly I ran out of money and with two kids, wife wants it gone. It has a nice thru hull airmar transducer(see pics) and some nice thru hull underwater lights. I never had the chance of testing them but they are already on the boat. This model Mako has plenty of seating area and a huge cockpit along with a cabin. The new floor was beefed up in three areas as seen in the pictures. This is to properly secure the bases for the two captain seats(not included) and a transom table(not included) or fighting chair(not included). This vessel will make a perfect family and fishing boat. It has plenty of seating and a nice forward cabin. Vessel is being sold as is and comes with no warranty, returns or refunds. Buyer is responsible for transportation of vessel to final destination. Buyer is also responsible for loading of vessel into trailer or transportation truck.
