This classic Lyman 23 foot Sleeper is truly that... a diamond in the rough.  The owner bought it a few years back and the first photo it just after he bought it.  After he got it home to Tennessee, he started stripping the hull for a repaint and replaced a few boards on the right rear as shown in the photos.  The hull is solid and the ribs, deck, seats and other wood work are in solid shape, they just need to be sanded, repainted and re-varnished.  In the photos the bow of this boat appears to extend out from the covered area of the workshop in which it is stored.  However, that part of the boat has always been covered with a waterproof cover and has never been left out in the weather or exposed to the rain, sun or other elements.  This boat has been in dry storage since the current owner started stripping the hull.  I think it is the Sleeper model but I am not sure.  It has a V-Berth with a skylight in the front deck that opens to let fresh air in.  The engine was running when it was bought and last ran a couple of years ago.  The carburetor has been removed from the engine for cleaning and all the parts come with the boat.  The trailer shown in the photos is not the trailer that is included with this Lyman.  It is a dual axle trailer in good shape but it will need to be positioned under this Lyman and have the supports adjusted to fit snugly to this boat.
