2012 Weekender sale Boat. Hand Built 2 years in the making. Only used 3 times. Sails are new. Jib is included. (Not shown ) Boat is White and trim is Hunter Green Trailer is matching hunter green in Pictures) custom Built Trailer with Matching Paint. I built the boat In my shop 2010 through 201119 foot gaff rigged wooden boat professionally built The Weekender is a gaff sloop (gaff rig with a self tending jib) The boat has a small cabin. The boat is beyond pretty - it is drop dead gorgeous! Lightweight, shallow draft, easy to trailer, even easier to prepare for launch - the ultimate in trailer sailing! This is a NEW boat. It has been test sailed three times and WOW! did it ever sail well! Stable, fast, dry and head turning! Hardware is all first rate. This boat will fit in a standard garage! For trailering, the mast pivots down with the mainsail still attached. Setup time can be as little as five minutes. All you do is pivot the mast up (a one handed operation and there is no way the mast can sway), attach the forestay (singlehanded becasue the mast is stable when pinned in the upright position) and launch. That's it! Really, really easy. You will NOT find a prettier or sweeter sailing boat anywhere. This boat is listed for less than the cost it took to build and includes the trailer and 5 horse air cooled Briggs and Stratton motor
