Hudson Force 50 Ketch. This is a great offshore Ketch that has a great reputation especially in big water. The specs are as follows:LOA: 65'LOD: 51'LWL: 39'BEAM: 14' 2"DRAFT: 6' 2"DISPLACEMENT: 52,000 LBSBALLAST: 12,000 LBSCLEARANCE: 65'HEADROOM: 6' 4"POWER: Lehman Super 90, 85 HP 4.1 Liter DieselFUEL: 180 gallonsWATER: 75 gallonsDESIGNER: William GardnerThe good: The hull is in good shape and does not take on water or have any significant damage, the Ford Lehman 4 cylinder diesel runs well, It would not take much for the boat to be operable under it's own power (Shift cable, minor wiring, exhaust elbow. The motor starts right up) and a little more work to get her under sail at this time. Most of the interior is in decent shape except the sub flooring is in need of work hence all the diamond plate. The bad: The decks are in bad shape and are no longer sealed to the hull so when it rains she has leaks. Some of the deck framing needs to be replaced. The owner has installed aluminum diamond plate on most of the deck and in some interior areas to make the decks safe to walk on. The master/aft stateroom has been modified for a Jacuzzi tub and the bathroom wall has been removed so she is going to need some work there. The masts where replaced by very beefy stainless steel ones. not sure if that is good or bad. She has a full compliment of sales. This is a project boat but it would be a great boat when done and they sell for $100,000 to $200,000 in good condition. It would not take a lot to make her a great live aboard that could be powered to any location you want. About 1/2 the rigging needs to repaired or replaced. She is a classic, Pilothouse Ketch with a ton of potential and for a bargain price.Any questions call Greg at 727-666-0469I have more pics but it will not let me load them and a video of the motor firing up.LOW RESERVE PRICE.
