Inventory # 10060 Location: St. Clair Shores, MI General Description: This 1989 30' Hunter 30/SL Sailboat damaged from falling off jackstands while being stored ashore. Hull in poor condition with shiny gelcoat, white hull and deck with gray nonskid. Starboard side amidships had an approximately 1”X36” fracture in the hull just above waterline. The starboard side hull had numerous scrapes and abrasions over half its length. Starboard side locker lid sprung. The starboard side interior woodwork shows damage from impact including but not limited to shifted bulkhead, dinette cabinetry damage and some gouges in woodwork from falling debris. There is a leaking around the joint from the inner sump, Not all equipment could be tested as no power to vessel at time of inspection. Other: Boom appeared undamaged Bow pulpit and all stanchions on starboard side are bent Cockpit or Helm station in good condition Deck in fair condition, some moisture intrusion sighted forward. Gauges and controls, Edson, in fair condition for age, not tested Gunwale in good condition Keel damaged in accident, there are cracks in keel sump and transmission fluid in sump. Lifelines & Stanchions in fair condition but starboard side bent. Mast appeared undamaged Roller furling, Harken, in good condition Rudder & Tiller in fair condition but rudder has minor damage on bottom but it is still straight. Sails: There were no sails on board. Swim ladder in good condition Toe rail in good condition Waterheater: Seaward, not tested, condition unknown. Wheel & Binnacle in good condition Winches in good condition, two #21 Barient, self-tailing, Primary sheet winches, one #17 Barient, self-tailing, Cabin top winch. Other windows: The porthole, starboard hull side, window was cracked for the aft cabin. The other port lights/side windows were not damaged at the inspection. Florida 6% state sales tax will apply for Florida residents. Storage charges will accrue after the 10 day grace period. Loading fees will apply if no trailer included.
